The design is different but seems to work. The hold down is attached and not really adjustable but I gave it a shot and just installed it and it was spot on and ran great

Hi Toby, I'm pleased to assist you. No, it does not require a relearn. It does, however, need to be refitted. It requires the use of a timing light to set the timing of the engine after the new distributor is installed. To do this, you'll need to use the timing specifications unique to your vehicle.
