The parts arrived in a very timely manner. The quality seems to be excellent. The installation was easy and straight forward. Had to use an adhesive rather than stapling method of original equipment.

Weatherstrip outside sealDoor Glass Weatherstrip - Set Of 4

Removed outside original weatherseal on my 91 Chevy c1500 and snapped these in place- Original had metal clips, the replacement uses a very strong reinforced plastic clip strip as part of the seal, no clips needed. Just roll window down, pull original off (I used pliers to grasp original) then slide in new under mirror and align then snap fully down. Looks perfect and no more cracked window wipe seal and no more water leaks. Took 5-10 min per side for outside seals.

Question: Are there clear instructions as to which parts go to driver and passenger doors??  My last set of replacements had no instructions whatsoever!  And furthermore, were not nearly as UV stable as the old originals from 1988. Seem to have curled and hardened in the sunshine, in a relatively short life.  I also failed to find a suitable glue to hold them securely in place, when driving in high wind conditions.  Hoping these might be better than my last replacement set.Dale D. / Feb 04, 2023
