We have a 22 year old Ford Expedition that still runs like a charm. It's now at the age where the plastic parts are starting to break and crack, etc. We didn't want to take this old car to our mechanic because for a cheap part, the labor $ would be ridiculous (a panel had to be pulled out to even get to the part, etc).. Hubby got on YouTube (He is NOT a mechanic!) watched a short video, and got the job done (all for the cost of the little part (under $14). Happy Wife, Happy Life! It worked!! Quick delivery, too! :)

Answered by Andrew B. / Thu, Jan 05In my particular vehicle all the sensors are the same. Unfortunately my car did not specify which door was causing the error. I had to change the sensors one at a time until I found the door causing the alarm. I did this with one sensor moving it from door to door. I found the faulty sensor on the 3rd door and it was obvious that the sensor was broken when I removed it. Third time was the charm, it took a couple hours but not difficult if you a a bit handy.
