The part absolutely works and got the job done. It did arrive with one of the rods disconnected so I had to remove a screw to get the metal case off. Then had to figure out the orientation of the rod and how to reinstall and reconnect it to the plastic clip. Took a bit of time with a screw driver but not difficult once I figured out how it was connected. Part doesn't come with one of the cables so you have to swap over the one on your car. Not ideal if you don't have the OEM one still installed.
