Question: How to open the door when stuck in closed position 03  2500. D/S rear door ?Dennis S. / Nov 15, 2020
Hi, Please consult with your local shop or dealership for troubleshooting of your door.

I had a little trouble with this, both before I replaced the actuator, because it was bad, and after, because I didn't have the linkage aligned just right. Best answer I can give you, is to pull the door panel, which isn't bad, and pull the linkage off the actuator. You can lock it, and unlock it from there. The other thing I found, was before I replaced the actuator, if I pulled up on the lock button on the door, just a little, the old actuator had enough power to rotate the linkage, and it would unlock, with a little persuasion.

My o6 dodge 2500 stays locked after installing a passenger door lock actuator from carparts, I have to now push the driver door control button to the unlock and at same time pull door open, on your case you will have to have someone to try this method. Now another thing i found out is the wiring in the boot from truck to door inside this boot covering is all your wiring and on 3 doors, there were several wires broken into, cut boot open and examine wires, if any are broken intoo, butt splice them back, Hope's this helps
