The part came quickly and upon opening I found it was pretty well made looked pretty durable. When I installed it the fitment was perfect, when it was put back together everything functioned flawlessly. Yes, this will work with the original door lock cylinder and key.

Answered by Aldrin P. / Sun, Dec 27Yes. The actuator is just the mechanical device that locks and unlocks the door. It gets its signal from the receiver which receives its signal from your key fob.

Answered by Max N. / Sun, Dec 27ABSOLUTELY. You will be retaining EVERYTHING else for this installation. The key cylinder simply is attached by linkage rods to this part.

This is just the door lock actuator. You can reuse the old rod or we suggest getting those locally through a local auto supply store.
