Hello! I would carefully inspect the linkage for wear, and adjust if possible. If the actuator works, there must be some reason for the inconsistent locking.

Answered by Mitchell D. / Wed, Jun 15Question: Trying to isolate if this actuator is the problem. The only thing that doesn't work on the door switch is the front driver door lock button. Have checked fuse and replaced/returned with a new switch as that didn't resolve the problem. The manual lock works to lock/unlock the door and the keyless entry locks/unlocks the passenger door but not drivers side so have to use the key. The actuator seems the only thing left??A Shopper / Sep 29, 2020
