It means that the vehicle does not have A/C.

Answered by Aldrin P. / Wed, Aug 26two things, if the car does not have air conditioning the serpentine is shorter than if you had air conditioning. second thing is the routing of the belt upon installation, check to ensure that your routing of the belt is correct for your application.

Answered by Laurance P / Thu, Aug 27It could mean that the vehicle was originally without air conditioning. Or it could mean that the air conditioning unit went out and they want a belt that will operate without the compressor in the loop.
