I didn't install the part myself but my mechanic said it fit perfectly. That's definitely what you want to hear. The part is working well and it's nice to have a place where things are more affordable. The tracking and communication were great as well

Hi Joe, I'm pleased to assist you. No, it will not. This is only for the standard transmission on a 4 Cyl 2.7L. You will have to measure the existing driveshaft because there are at least 3 sizes for the automatic transmission of the 2004 Toyota Tacoma. They are 55-5/16 inches, 73-3/8 inches, and 121.9 inches.
