Thinner but stronger than oem i believe because it is rubbery as opposed to fibrous. Should last a long time and be less prone to tearing when removing carelessly i.e. brute force. Fitment is nearly perfect in terms of hole alignment. Plastic button clips not supplied but I knew that going in. Also got it on sale for <$25 for both so that makes it all the more satisfying.

We do actually have a pair left and right with part number REPN310124 if you need both. But still, if you only need the driver side this is readily available and in stock.
