Hi Chrissy,
If a mechanic will replace it for you, better to replace it cause it will save you on labor cost in the long run. If it's going to be a DIY (do-it-yourself) project, that depends on the present condition of the driver's side splash shield.

As per checking, this item does not come with installation hardware. We suggest getting those locally through a local auto supply store or the dealership.
