Pretty lightweight plastic. It was curled into the bottom of the shipping box and needed to be warmed up in the sunlight to resume shape. Not a big deal. The fit was good and that’s what really matters. Overall I was pleased with it once it was installed.

Ordered this based on the VIN number for my car. It came on time and in great shape, but it didn't fit my car. Tried for about an hour to get it to work, and then looked it up on the Mazda oem parts site. The part listed looked drastically different than the one I had, so I returned it. The return process was great, they refunded my shipping cost and I didn't get charged a re-stocking fee. Will definitely buy my parts from here again, but will verify them against the Mazda parts site first.

Question: The sky active engine with 6 speed automatic take a special rear engine shield, What are demensions of the two shields. I have had to send two back as they were incorrect. Apparently the one I need fits only this engine and transmission combination?Jim H. / Jul 28, 2023
