Part came quickly. YouTube videos helped with installation. The anchor piece that gets screwed into the car didn't fit (it was designed for the screw straight-on, vs the OEM one at a significant angle), but I was able to re-use the existing anchor. Handle seems sturdy, was a very easy fix. Minus one star because had I need a new anchor piece, the one provided wouldn't have fit.

My item was easy to order on website. It fit as expected. was easy to install after watching a UTube video. it for my particular car, i wish it came with a spare bolt, i case I needed it, which I did. but nevertheless, item was great! The item comes unpainted- we just put on as is, as it is unimportant for the age of the car.

No. It is all plastic. Make sure you secure the locking mechanism with a twist tie. It holds it attached to the plastic snap.

Hi. As others have stated, the handle is durable plastic. The mechanism on the backside is metal.
Mine went in easily. Never a problem again.
