I bought this fender flare to replace a flat that was damaged on my son's BMW X1. Unfortunately, when the shop went to install it (after I had paid to have it painted), the part would bend at every point where a clip secured it to the wheel well. When it was in place, it was wavy from all of the areas where the clips pulled in too tight. Comparing it with the original wheel flare piece, you can feel that this is just much flimsier overall.
And unfortunately, since it took a few months to get this painted and into the shop for installing the part, I am outside of the return window. So I am out the cost of this part plus the paint, making this about a $200 loss and I have to start over. Very disappointed
