Question: Does this fender have the "sponge" in it like the original fender which is what causes the fender to rot away above the tire?Amy R. / Oct 24, 2022

The answer is No. the sponge foam spacer is not there, My original fender rusted in that exact place. Repaired it twice. Replaced it with this fender. I did have my painter put an undercoating on the inside surface to prevent rusting.
