The common repair method is to trim the old and new, create a stepped flange around the perimeter of the replacement panel, and install it with a lap weld because butt-welding is difficult. However, butt-welding is the right way to do any replacement panel. We recommend referring to a good video for step-by-step instructions. It may require basic automotive knowledge for proper installation, and professional installation is always recommended. The actual bed pan is welded on. The cross members do not come with bolts. I had to order them.

My floor included the three rear supports not the front one.

The nice thing about floor pan replacement is that it's really not all that complicated, disassemble what's left of the original, trim and fit the new one, and reverse your disassembly procedure. You will need a cross member kit as well. The pan will come with 3 cross members already attached (believe it was 3). You will also need mounting hardware unless you get the cross member kit which the kit i got came with, but I didn't realize they were included so i bought OEM from my dealer. You need a special automotive adhesive and the project was a TON of work, considerably more than i expected!!! Hope this helps. Good luck
