I was nervous purchasing my own replacement body parts for my 2014 GMC Terrain SLT. I've always used a bodyshop in the past for repairs, but this time the damage was not bad enough to warrant filing a claim etc. I really just needed to unbolt the old fender and bumper and bolt the new one into place. I also ordered a new headlight and fog light along with the trim for the fender and bumper. I put in the year/make/model of my vehicle and everything showed up in the time frame expected and went on my truck with no problem! I'm very happy with the pricing and quality of their products! Question: Are these lights and trim pieces work to install factory look headlight that did not come from the factory? My lower trim model equinox appears to look the same as models that did include the lights but has a black plastic piece there.DDD / Dec 15, 2024
Question: My car didn't originally come with fog lights so obviously I need the new switch for my turn signal which includes the fog light I'd like button but do I also need wiring for them to connect to the lights from my vehicle or is there any other parts that I need that you can think of?Ryan P. / Oct 27, 2022
Hi Ryan, I'm pleased to assist you. If you're adding fog lights to a vehicle not originally equipped with them, you'll need to start by running the wiring for an on-off switch from under the hood to the inside of the vehicle. The easiest and most direct way to do so is to run the wire through the vehicle's firewall. There are several videos on YouTube and Google with step-by-step instructions.
