Housings that are "guaranteed" to fit, do not fit. As you can see, the new part on the bottom, from CarParts, has places for attaching to the car at 10, 1, and 6 positions of a clock. The existing part has holes at 10, 3, and 6. The good news was that I could remove the new fixture from the new housing and put it in the old housing. But, if I had known that, I would not have bought the fixture and housing, just the fixture.
