Bought this to replace my old filter of three years on my '05 mustang. When I took the old filter out I noticed that brown gas poured out of the inlet while clean gas still flowed out of the outlet. Which proved to me that the filter was doing its job. Being made in the USA is another reason for me sticking with this Motorcraft item. The only pain was going underneath the car to remove the panel and bracket that secures the filter itself. Must've taken about twenty minutes.
