Hi Doctor, I'm glad to assist you. A fuel filter does not directly correct the vapor lock issues. Vapor lock occurs when the fuel in the fuel line or carburetor evaporates due to excessive heat, resulting in a loss of fuel supply to the engine. I hope this helps, and we thank you for inquiring.
