Question: how to replace fuel pressure regulator 0n 1998 silverado?Charles H. / Apr 26, 2020
Hello – Unfortunately, because the fuel pressure regulator is located underneath the upper intake manifold on your vehicle, replacing it is a rather involved job. If you decide to tackle the repair yourself, I suggest consulting a repair manual for your vehicle. Good luck!

Question: Is  it located  in the gas tank? Just above the fuel pump?JAMES W. / Sep 25, 2020
Hi-James We recommend referring to a trusted vehicle specific repair manual to locate that particular part. You can find more information here: https://www.carparts.com/blog/why-you-should-always-consult-a-repair-manual/ Also, it is best to consult with your local automotive shop or dealership for that detail as well.

Question: what pressure is the pressure regulator sent at ?A Shopper / Nov 09, 2020
Hi, Without starting the engine turn the ignition key to the on position the gauge should jump up to between 45 psi and 58 psi (DPI) direct port injection systems, throttle body injection (TBI) should be between 13 and 17 psi in most cases as the system primes.
