Answered by Jeonino E. / Fri, Oct 01Do not use any lubricating oils or gels in the fuel stream. The fuel injectors most certainly be damaged or clogged.
Electrical connectors have seen many heating and cooling cycle and will have stiffened. Examine the plug to understand the retainer lock. There should be 2 pieces. 1) A fail safe pin or sleeve is separate piece, that keeps a clip from accidently release. 2) A retaining clip, molded as one with the plug, with a finger operated release lever. A firm hand will be necessary to separate plug from fuel pressure sensor.
