Question: Could I see a electric fuel pump in the tank for my 1969 Buick Riviera  7.0 engine?Richard P. / Mar 11, 2022
Hi Richard, I'm glad to assist you. No. The location is on the fuel tank. You can probably access the fuel pump from the trunk of your Buick and no need to remove the fuel tank. Still, we recommend you consult with your trusted local auto repair shop to ensure proper repair and replacement of the part. Upon checking, we do not carry a fuel pump for your 1969 Buick Riviera 7.0L. We have a fuel filter that you may need, as well. Click the link below to order the part if ever you need it. I hope this helps. Happy shopping. https://www.carparts.com/details/Buick/Riviera/AC_Delco/Fuel_Filter/1969/Base/8_Cyl_7-dot-0L/ACGF441.html?can=CPJE1043_20220310

Question: Hi Mia.  Can this pump be mounted outside of the fuel tank (and without removing the old fuel pump, which requires dropping the fuel tank)? Thanks, DarylDaryl L. / Jan 17, 2022
Hello! Unfortunately this pump is meant to be submerged. I would not install an inline pump without removing the factory pump and installing some sort of siphon in it's place.
