Question: my 2001 dodge w 5.9 cummins vin # does not have a 6.. will the fuel lift pump #RD31450004 not work with it? It looks identical to the old one.Don R. / May 09, 2022

Hi Jesse,
Although the gasket is usually reliable, engine vibration can cause the bolts to come loose. When this happens, oil can seep out around the fuel pump. If you notice a leak in this area, replace the seal as soon as possible, as elements in the engine oil can cause further damage.
