Great site and fast deliveryFuel Pump, Electric, With Fuel Sending Unit
5.0/5
Exactly what the description stated is what I received and the timeframe they gave me, it came a day earlier and I live out in the country so it usually take more time for items I ordered to get to me. I order from this site often because of how easy it its to navigate.

Question: How to change the lift pump ?Michael L. / Jul 30, 2021
Hi Michael, I'm glad to assist you. This requires draining the fuel and removing the fuel tank from underneath the bed to replace the defective fuel pump assembly. This needs much extensive work to be done with prior experience in doing this kind of maintenance procedure. Please check online car parts video sharing websites for DIY install procedures of fuel pumps for your vehicle. Still, it is best if you can have this done by a certified mechanic. Take advantage of our lowest sale price offer. Click the link below to order this today. I hope this helps. Happy shopping. https://www.carparts.com/fuel-pump/drivemotive/rd31450007?can=CPJE1043

Hey Michael, the best way to go about this is to drain your tank first. You can buy a cheap drill-driven pump at any Harbor Freight, and then get a suitable fuel container with enough capacity for the amount of fuel you have in the tank. Adapt the drill pump to the fuel tank outlet (you'll have to get a little creative), and empty it out. Then, you have to drop the tank down, and then you can remove and change the pump. The new pump has screws on top, and requires a fresh gasket or o-ring when you set it in to replace the old one. The plugs should all be the same and you just swap connections. I hope this helps.

Some cars have hole in floor pan under rear seat. All others you will have to lower the fuel tank. Sending unit is inside the tank.

Hi Dan B., to be honest with you, the truck I bought this for requires part number #NNP C0497M. The part I think fits yours is #DFP FG1944, if your bed is 72.3 inches long. Just know that there are a ton of these pumps that all look alike, but they're not the same. So I think the short answer is "no", this doesn't fit your truck but CarParts does have the right one in stock. Best of luck

Question: what are the 4 wires black/yellow & 2 blue ones ?Paul D. / Apr 22, 2025
Hi Paul, I am pleased to assist you. This fuel pump typically uses a 4-wire configuration that includes connections for fuel pump power, pump ground, fuel level sensor signal, and sensor ground. While wire colors can vary by vehicle, black/yellow and blue wires are commonly associated with these functions. However, because wiring colors and roles can differ between models and years, it's important to consult the specific wiring diagram for your vehicle to correctly identify each wire’s purpose. If your vehicle information and details match this product, use the link below to order while the part is in stock. I hope this helps, and enjoy shopping! https://www.carparts.com/fuel-pump/drivemotive/rd31450007?cpcid=Q1BHRzQ4NTB8V3JpdHRlbiBJbnRlcmFjdGlvbiBUZWFtIC0gQ1NRQXwvZnVlbC1wdW1wL2RyaXZlbW90aXZlL3JkMzE0NTAwMDd8MjAyNTA0MjI=
