I ordered the fuel pump because my fuel gauge was dancing around. When I got the pump it was packed real well. It was complete with sending unit. Had to change one plug on wiring harness. Seems to be working just the way it is supposed to.

Question: Will it work on3.8 motor?Kevin G. / Feb 06, 2021
Hi Kevin, This fuel pump works on several vehicles with a 6 cylinder 3.8L engine. To check the fitment please use our Vehicle Selector — which can be found towards the top of the homepage as well as all categories, search results, and product pages — can help verify if a part will fit your specific application. To enter your application, simply select your vehicle’s year, make, model, sub-model, and engine type and click “Go.” Once your application is selected, you’ll see a “Guaranteed to Fit” badge if the part will fit, and we recommend that you also double-check Your Vehicle Fit Details as well as the Vehicle Fitment Information table on the product page.

Question: What’s the fuse for ?A Shopper / Jun 14, 2020
Hello! the circuit that feeds power to the fuel pump is protected by a fuse, which is used as a cheap point of failure in case of a wiring short or fuel pump failure, so that no wiring is damaged.

Question: Do I have to drop gas tank to replace the fuel pump?A Shopper / Oct 01, 2020
Hi, We recommend referring to a good repair manual for step by step instructions on how to replace a fuel pump. It may require basic automotive knowledge for proper installation and professional installation is always recommended. You can find more information here: https://www.carparts.com/blog/why-you-should-always-consult-a-repair-manual/

On my 2004 buick century with 3.1L V6 the access was under the back seat, so I had to remove the seat..

You can access the fuel pump under the rear seat.

Yes you do. Unless there is a removable access port in the trunk. But my experience has been always dropping the tank. Make sure it's close to empty before you start.
