Question: I ordered this fuel pump for my 2003 Buick LeSabre and put it in but my gas gauge won’t ready full tank on the dash when the tank is full. Did I happen to get the wrong fuel pump? Do I need to get the one without pressure sensor?Cyle A. / Aug 25, 2021
It is possible that the float was not installed correctly in tank . Did the mechanic test operation of new fuel sender before installing it in tank ? Does the cluster fuel needle read zero when the engine is off ? If it reads below zero then the needle is stuck. (If all these things fail check ground wire connections on engine and gas tank, then you may have a problem with fuel sender in tank )

Answered by Alex* / Sat, Mar 05I’m not really sure,,but I got this for my 05 Lesabre and my gas gauge worked before that and after. You may have a bad cluster,,which is the actual gas gauge that’s broke,,but again I’m not a mechanic,,I had someone put it in for me. Hope this helps you. Best of luck.

Answered by Aldrin P. / Mon, Apr 03Hi Ricky, I replaced fuel pump on my Buick Lesabre and it went well. You have to replace the conectors with the one that comes with the Fuel Pump. Hope it helps.
