FantasticFuel Pump, Electric, With Fuel Sending Unit
5.0/5
The part came in a timely manner and was exactly as described. Install was as smooth as can be with a truck thats nearly 30 years old. But the part itself is fantastic and came with everything i needed. Would 10 outta 10 recommend not only the part but, <a href="http://carparts.com" target="_blank">carparts.com</a> to anyone.

Well, it's been in my '99 Suburban K1500 for about a week and half of a tank of gas and... all is well! I am surprised by how quiet it is, as most aftermarket fuel pumps you can hear from a couple parking spaces away. Changing it was a bear and it still had the OG wire harness on it, so I was happy the new one has the updated one. I hope this one lasts a couple years. I'd happy with that, considering the cost. Speaking of the low cost, I'm thinking of getting another one just to carry in the 'Burb! Definitely worth it so far!

Question: What do you mean by module code and is it possible my fuel pump has a 3 prong plug instead of a 4? it's a 99 suburban sle 5.7 vortec if this pump will not work will you please recommend one that will thanksJohn R. / Nov 17, 2022
Hi John, I'm pleased to assist you. The code is located on a small tag attached to the wire harness or on the pump itself. There are four different codes for different types of trucks, such as regular cab, extended cab, and crew cab. This explains the four distinct codes and number of prongs. We need more information. I suggest calling our Sales Team at 1-866-529-0412. Our Parts Specialist will assist you in finding the correct pump. I hope this is helpful. Have a great day.
