Hi Ronnie, I'm pleased to assist you. 1) Place your measuring tape at the bulkhead of your truck bed. 2) Moving along your bed rail, extend the measuring tape to the inside edge of the top of your tailgate. Answered by Grace G. / Fri, Mar 10I always go by by what model truck it is you have a long wait h is right at 8 ft then you have a crew cab that is the smallest bed then you have the extended cab witch is longer than a crew cab and shorter than a long bed but this is for the standard models but manufacture will mix it up I always go to the basics
