Hi Michael, I'm glad to assist you. No, the (main) fuel filter is in the engine, near the fuel rail. This fuel pump assembly only has the filter sock or strainer on the lower portion of the enclosed area of the fuel pump assembly. It is guaranteed to fit the 2009 to 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 3.6? and 4.7L. We do not carry a direct-fit fuel filter for the selected truck application. Happy shopping!
