Question: Where would access panel to gas tank be located inside van,2004 E150 van?Maguyver / Oct 27, 2021
Hi Eddie, I'm pleased to assist you. There is no access panel to the fuel tank inside the 2004 Ford E-150. You will have to go underneath the vehicle and remove the straps to the tank to install this fuel pump that is compatible with the 8 Cyl 5.4L and 8 Cyl 4.6L (without an auxiliary fuel port). If interested in this fuel pump, click on the link below to order at 51% off the regular price while supplies last.

*DISCLAIMER* AT THE END OF ANSWER!
To be perfectly honest, there is no access to the fuel tank from inside the van. The only way to get to the fuel pump or access the inside of the fuel tank is from underneath. You would have to unbolt the straps holding up the fuel tank making sure to use jack stands and a sufficient Jack to safely lower the fuel tank as you unbolt the straps. It isn't the greatest or easiest job, hopefully you will not have gotten gas anytime recently the less fuel in the tank the better when it comes to having to drop the fuel tank.
Sorry I didn't have a better answer for you, I wish many times there was a inside access panel for getting to the fuel pump.
My regards and best of luck,
Marcus L.
P.S.
Once when I was a kid my grandfather was working on his e250 Ford van and was upset that there wasn't an access panel internally to replace his fuel pump. So he took an angle grinder and made himself one. I'll never forget that day, him in the back of his van smoking a cigar sparks flying everywhere! Mere inches from a half full fuel tank, while I held the flashlight. Ah, the wonderful memories of childhood, could have very easily set us both on fire or worse but he changed that fuel pump and didn't have to drop the gas tank! Please read my disclaimer at the bottom, as I do not condone this in any way!
