cheap pump I didnt think it would work but it does it's not as strong as the expensive ones it's good for testing the fuel system on a car the rest of the kit was ok I used heat shrink over the connectors and had to get a different peice of hose the diameter of that one is too small

Answered by Grace G. / Mon, Oct 17I purchased this pump to be used as an internal (in-the-tank) replacement for a Chevy s-10. It comes without the sending unit, or the apparatus that let's you know how much fuel that you have. I believe it can be used as an external pump, but you need to be careful on overheating it... the fuel usually keeps it cool under heavy usage. Mike G

Yes, this is designed to fit the vehicle application 1983 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 8 Cyl 5.0L(305ci) Engine with VIN: 7 or S. That is the 1st 8 characters of the VIN, there should be an S or 7.
