Question: I have replaced my fuel pump 2 times in a month.  Never register correctly on the panel.  It shows 1/2 tank after only 100 miles.  I usually get about 400 miles to a tank.  What could cause this?Roger P. / Feb 22, 2022

Did you compare the replacement pump assembly to the original that you took out? If it was an exact match then is the replacement pump being installed with the fuel sending unit arm facing the same direction as the original one that was taken out cause if it's turned opposite direction that could cause the reading you're getting depending on shape of tank.

Question: Will this pump unit work correctly with my fuel gauge? I have Tryed 2 other brands that are not.Steve L. / Oct 31, 2021
Hi Steve, I'm glad to assist you. Yes, it would. That is based on the vehicle application you have selected and the correct engine size. The fitment information also says it fits the extended cab pickup with production date from May 1, 2006. For us to double-check. Please provide your vehicle's complete information (year, make, model, submodel, and engine size). Once confirmed. Grab our sale price offer and click the link below to order today. I hope this helps. Happy shopping. https://www.carparts.com/fuel-pump/drivemotive/repm314526?can=CPJE1043

Should just fine as long as nothing damages the float on installation. But it works for mine

Question: Why is there one line on one side of the fuel filter and two on the other side?Scotty / Feb 19, 2023
Hi Scotty, I'm glad to assist you. This fuel pump assembly has a fitment detail to check, a production date from May 1 to 2006 onwards. For us to check carefully and be accurate on the part you need, please provide the complete information of your vehicle (year, make, model, submodel, and engine size). The VIN would be much helpful.
