This is more of a public service announcement. I spent an entire day laboriously trying to get this fuel pump into my e 2002 Acura MDX, but it simply would NOT fit. Finally, I realized that the rubber gasket that seals the pump into the tank was different from the original pump I had taken out. Removed the pump, took off the fuel sending unit, took the new gasket off and out the new one on, and it slid in absolutely perfectly. So if you are having issues with fit, please try that. Other than that it's working great and it fixed my issue, but I had to knock off a start for all the frustration and the fact that it didn't fit as-is.
