Answered by Andrew B. / Thu, Feb 16If it is the same as my 1991 S10, the pump is inside the gasoline tank mounted under the front left side of the truck bed. My pump failed due to gravel in the tank getting trough the filter sock that had a hole warn into it by rubbing on the bottom of the tank. I lifted the truck bed to remove and clean the tank before installing the new pump and filter sock..
