It went right in the fuel tank worked perfect. I bought a used 99 ford ranger with a bad fuel pump and decided to just get the whole assembly since I didn't know what I was getting into. It was plug and play quick. Pulling he bed to get to the tank was the hardest part. I have no complaints.
