I need to return the fuel pump because it was not what I needed I haven’t used it or anything

The part fits and works well so far. The install is about a medium in difficulty. Took about 30 mins. Remember to disconnect your battery, pull the fuel Pump circuit from under the driver side dash (It is a blue square approximately a half inch by half inch), Take the Fuel filling cap off your fuel tank and You can also disconnect the fuel line located under the hood to the left of the brake fluid reservoir. The most challenging part is removal and tightening of the jar style lid that screws down and seals the pump. The float that controls The fuel gauge is not as long as the OEM float. I believe that it is conservatively showing that the tank is empty more quickly, and that there is more reserve fuel in the tank. Not a big deal, but this may be a fix for a lot of these fuel pumps Going bad on the Honda models. You can always change out the OEM float and put it on the new part if you have an issue.

Question: I see this punp doesnt cone with a pressure sensor. Is this sensor something that is seperate from the rest of the pump assembly that wont be thrown away with the old one?WreckItRyan / Jan 05, 2022
