Question: 1997 infiniti q45 does this product keeps my gas/fuel door closed?A Shopper / Mar 25, 2021
Hi,
No. This is for the fuel sending unit lock ring of the 1997 Infiniti Q45. Not for the gas door. There are three reasons why a fuel door might get stuck open. 1) Lose fuel door cable. 2) The taut fuel door cable. 3) Broken fuel door latch. Many fuel doors have latches where they close to hold the door in place. If this latch breaks, it may be stuck in the open position.

Question: Does this product shut my gas door?A Shopper / Mar 25, 2021
Hi,
No. This is for the fuel sending unit lock ring, not for the gas door. To check the availability and fitment please use our Vehicle Selector — which can be found towards the top of the homepage as well as all categories, search results, and product pages — can help verify if a part will fit your specific application.
To enter your application, simply select your vehicle’s year, make, model, sub-model, and engine type and click “Go.” Once your application is selected, you’ll see a “Guaranteed to Fit” badge if the part will fit, and we recommend that you also double-check Your Vehicle Fit Details as well as the Vehicle Fitment Information table on the product page.
