The tip of the float spring holder made the assembly to large to fit through the gas tank port, (this was installed without removing the fuel tank). I trimmed the tip off and was able to install the unit.

Question: What is the OHM range?Peter S. / Dec 31, 2020
Hi Peter,
The original 1955-1957 Chevy sending units are 0-30 ohm. This sending unit solves that problem as it is an original type of sending unit that will install in your original tank. This fuel sending unit is rated for 240-33 ohms like most aftermarket gauges.
