Fuel sending units are pretty nice, especially with soldered connections, only problem was the fuel pump on the units didn't come in the kit but that's not an issue

Answered by Andrew B. / Wed, Jun 02NO this sending unit will only fit REAR TANKS, the side tank sending unit have differently angled tubes. Trust me I learned this the hard way :)

It says it will fit all rear steel tanks but a sending unit for a 19 gallon rear tank would not work for a 38 gallon tank because it would be too short. And a sending unit for a 38 gallon tank would not fit a 19 gallon tank because it would be too long. Am I wrong or does it in fact fit either tanks?Monte F. / Oct 07, 2022

Hi Gabriel, I'm glad to help you out. This is just the fuel sending unit and not the fuel pump. Only the fuel pump has the PSI. The fuel sending unit is used to measure the amount of fuel in the fuel tank and communicate the fuel level of the fuel gauge on the vehicle dashboard. This part included the fuel sender, float, and strainer (does not include the fuel pump).
