Answered by Kevin D. / Mon, Aug 09Question: Does this have a pump inside?A Shopper / Nov 01, 2020
Hi,
A fuel tank selector valve regulates the flow of fluid in the main tank and the auxiliary tank to meet the operating engine’s fuel demands. This is a regulator valve allowing access to any of the 2 tanks primary or auxiliary fuel tank. This valve does not have a pump.
JE
No, it doesn't. All it does is select which tank fuel is coming from via the switch inside the cab. In the case of Powerstroke Diesel engines, there is no fuel pump inside the tanks, It is handled by the lift pump in the engine bay. The Gas powered trucks have pumps inside the tanks.

Answered by Nicholas L. / Mon, Nov 02inside of frame rail next to tank very tight fit I did mine w/o removing tank but it would be much easier by dropping tank
ER
Answered by Ed R. / Sun, Nov 01Not that I know of. Just a valve that switches fuel tanks for the fuel gauge.

Can't really say. What I do know is it went bad in about 3 weeks and when I tried to get it warranted I was told it was on back order. Bought from another place and threw this one in the trash.
