Answered by Shen S / Thu, Oct 13I purchased two and both are different in the way they are installed without the key (screw two turns to tighten versus one that just installs 1/2 turn). Hold the cap after installation with one hand and turn the key clockwise to lock with the other hand. Then the cap will freely move but won't unscrew or open. To open, hold the cap with one hand and turn the key counterclockwise with the other hand to unlock. It takes some practice. The key has to turn independent of the actual cap...
