works great did the trick to shutting off my check engine light only complaint is nowhere to attach the cord to so it stays on the vehicle and now i have to make sure I remember to put it back on cuz its not dangling out minor inconvenience

This particular gas cap fits perfectly and clicks three times as it should to get a good seal to keep the vapors in. The end result is that I am getting better gas mileage. I’m happy with that.

Hi Kenneth, I'm glad to assist you. The vented gas cap has a small hole or valve to allow air to enter the tank, preventing a vacuum from forming. While a non-vented gas cap generally appears solid without any visible holes or valves.
