I got a new gas cap the first time cause it would leak, it was good for a while till someone stole it and i had to buy another one. This must be a really sought after part cause someone stole it again in a whole different county. Ill give it 5 stars just cause everyone wants it so badly I guess. (Btw, I ended getting the one that locks.)

Answered by Jeonino E. / Fri, Sep 02It appeared from the start to provide a good tight seal. But after a couple years it seems that I have to tighten it more and more after filling gas. And my check engine is now coming back on which I suspected earlier as being due to a loose gas cap since all efforts to find another cause have failed. So I may order another new gas cap to see if it clears up the check engine problem.
