Exactly what I expected paint was not quite a match. However, my Tacoma is a 2012 so I didn’t expect it to be perfect. It did seem like the gloss coat was not comparable. since it was just the front grill I’m fine with it because I’m gonna end up wrapping it anyways. However, if it was an hood or a fender, I would not be happy with the color match.

Hi Suzette,
This grille is a whole assembly replacement for your old worn out or damaged grille assembly. If the center piece insert is somehow removable, you probably can replace the insert with your old center piece. Still, if that is not removable you have to install this whole grille assembly for your grille to look new.

If by center you mean the Toyota logo, yes it comes out and snaps in. If you’re talking about the black grill coming apart from the chrome trim, no it doesn’t separate.
