Works good.Driver Side Headlight Bracket

I had to file/sand down the 4 receiving posts that the headlight slides into to get it to seat all the way and allow me to lock into place. So not 100% fit due to excess plastic (too thick) but saved about $200 on part so worth the extra time it took to make fit right.

Question: Hi, I have a 2013 Fender Edition Beetle. I bought a bracket from a different supplier and the locking mech for the light assy wouldn't fully engage. Any difference here?Patrick O. / Nov 21, 2020
Hi Pat, I highly recommend to have a mechanic check the alignment of the part and the car. To check the fitment please use our Vehicle Selector — which can be found towards the top of the homepage as well as all categories, search results, and product pages — can help verify if a part will fit your specific application. To enter your application, simply select your vehicle’s year, make, model, sub-model, and engine type and click “Go.” Once your application is selected, you’ll see a “Guaranteed to Fit” badge if the part will fit, and we recommend that you also double-check Your Vehicle Fit Details as well as the Vehicle Fitment Information table on the product page.

As Aldrin P. stated, make sure that you have the correct part. If so, and I am not an expert, but when I installed the bracket on my wife's 2013 Hatchback, I found it difficult to align properly. But, to my recollection, there is a bit of play in the alignment, and it simply took me a few adjustments to get it right.
