Question: The wires that attach to the back of switch are melted, does this part come with the wires also?Angie S. / Feb 18, 2021
Hi Angie,
The wiring harness pigtail is not included. This would just be the headlight switch.

Answered by Jeonino E. / Thu, Feb 18No , there was no extra wiring supplied with this new switch , the main wiring on my switch was melted too , lucky I have a box in my garage that I have a bunch of extra wires , in short , I repaired my melted wiring before I finished the installation , I have had no problems since .
I even had the ends of the wires , so I had a fairly good installation .
Have I had experience in replacing wires in my past ? Yes
Did I have any problems with this repair ? No

Answered by Mitchell D. / Thu, Nov 05To turn your headlights off when you turn off the main key , you are asking about changing how the factory designed the features on your pickup , I don't think there is such a way to do that , you are certainly not going to be able to do something like that by replacing the headlight switch .
What is so difficult about turning on or off your own headlights by using the headlight switch ?

Answered by Steven J. / Wed, Nov 04On the rear view mirror there is a slider near the bottom. Move that all the way to the left (it is the delay switch) all the way to the left is no delay.

The knob is not included. We suggest getting those locally through a local auto supply store or the dealership.
