Good replacement headlight. This one replaced same brand headlight that had lost it’s adjustment knob. I hope this one does better and stays intact.

Question: How do you adjust them? I got mine and they are pointed inwards and I'm not sure what kind of tool it says to adjust them.Seth W. / Apr 05, 2021

Hi Seth, I'm glad to help you out. On the 2000-2004 Volvo S40 and V40 models, the headlights can be adjusted manually with a screwdriver. There is a handle in the bottom that you can turn for the vertical adjustment, and there are gears on the top that are used in the beam rotation of the bulbs. Make sure to park your vehicle 25 feet from a wall, and place a piece of tape horizontally 4 feet high across the wall in front of your vehicle. Turn on the low beams. Adjust the headlights until they shine on the tape. I hope this helps. Happy shopping.

Adjust the vertical with the white adjustment knob at the back center of the light. Adjust the horizontal with an Allen key, by turning the Allen screws on top of both the high- and low beam.
