Lights looked excellent after install. Fit just like the OEM lights. When I went to have them adjusted, didn’t need anything, was already aligned perfectly. Great part at a great price.

Question: What is the difference between caps certified and standard?Carmelita S. / Oct 07, 2021
Hi Carmelita, I'm glad to assist you. The Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA) was created by automobile insurance companies to oversee a test program guaranteeing the suitability and consistent quality of aftermarket automotive parts meeting or exceeding the factory OEM quality. However, for the non CAPA, keep in mind that being non-CAPA certified doesn't necessarily mean lower quality. The parts are just as good but the manufacturer chooses not to pursue CAPA certification in order to cut costs. Grab our promo sale price offer and click the link below to choose and order today. I hope this helps. Happy shopping. https://www.carparts.com/headlight/replacement/arbh100101q?can=CPJE1043 (Capa certified) https://www.carparts.com/details/Honda/Accord/Replacement/Headlight/2012/EX/6_Cyl_3-dot-5L/ARBH100101.html?can=CPJE1043 (Non-Capa, Standard)

The CAPA one is a part that was certified to meet industry standardization for quality. Insurance companies require that these parts are used to rebuild cars after accidents. Often times the parts are the same but one didn't have the cost of the certification process so the manufacturer can sell it cheaper. So if you are rebuilding the car on your own you don't necessarily have to have the CAPA part and the other might be the same part for less money. But it may be worth the extra money to know you got one that has a stamp of approval on it.
