Hi,
A black headlight is one that has a black background (bezel piece) visible through a lens cover that's clear - not tinted. Similarly, a chrome or clear headlight is one with a chrome background bezel piece.

Hi Mike, I'm glad to assist you. The bulb type for the halogen is 9005 for the low and high beams. There are no 9012 bulbs on this headlight. For us to double-check, please provide the complete VIN of your vehicle.
